Hi! I am Geno Murray. I am an introverted, passionate, self driven, motivated and self taught photographer/videographer born and raised in Jamaica who now resides in Atlanta, GA. Life is a beautiful thing. It is with this love for life that i fell in love with photography on a whole. Have you ever walked around and just admire how beautifully created people and things are? The design? The creative process? The intricate details? Have you ever revisit a moment in your life that meant so much but you are only left with just the intangible memories and hoping that your memory don’t go bad and you’ll miss out on sharing this moment with friends or love ones? You’re not alone.

I love art and the beauty to create. Photography is art. It takes me away. It is through art that beauty becomes more expressive and defined. It is through art that moments last a lifetime, your expressions are brought to life and you’re able to tell a story without echoing a word.

WHY PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography ignites and fuel my purpose and passion. Growing up i was artistic and good with my hands. I was good at drawing and building things from scratch. About 2.5 years ago my son was born. Everything changed. I bought a point and shoot camera just to be able to take nice enough photos of my family. I searched for content to learn as much as i can and get a clear understanding and knowledge of the art because i wanted to take better photos. At this point i was engaged. There was no escape. Captivated by my family, peers, the love i have garnered, general feedback and encouragement, it gave birth to GENOSNAPS (G-SNAPS).

To add, photography is a powerful medium that has the ability to capture moments, convey emotions, tell stories, and freeze time. It is a universal language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, allowing people to communicate and share experiences with others across the world.

One of the key reasons why photography is so important is that it allows us to preserve memories. Life is full of precious moments that we might forget over time, but a photograph can help us remember and relive those moments again and again. Whether it's a family vacation, a wedding, or a birthday party, photography allows us to capture these moments and savor them for years to come.

Photography is also a form of art. It allows photographers to express themselves creatively, capturing the world around them in unique and interesting ways. Whether it's through black and white photography, long exposures, or experimental techniques, photography allows artists to push the boundaries of what is possible and create truly stunning images.

In addition to capturing memories and creating art, photography can also serve as a tool for social change. Photographs have the power to raise awareness about important issues, inspire meaningful dialogue, and even spark social movements.

OBJECTIVE

Everything poses as a great opportunity to create/photograph. It is important to learn as much, grow and evolve. So, i pride myself in what i do and what i represent. My specialty ranges but are not limited to PORTRAITURE, FASHION/EDITORIAL and WEDDING . I possess the ability to use flash or natural light and also the use of a Studio or enjoying the pleasures of the outside. My style consist of an eclectic, moody, colorful and modern with flashes of vintage/classic. My optimum priority are my clients, in meeting their expectations and delivering that satisfying end product. I create and you enjoy! BOOK the experience.
